DUJ Food bank was set up with a heartfelt desire to give back to our community. Our primary focus is to assist vulnerable individuals and families who find themselves in crisis situations. We understand that sometimes life can present unexpected challenges, and during these times, we aim to provide immediate relief by offering emergency food supplies.

Our food bank serves as a lifeline for those facing difficult circumstances. We recognise that providing sustenance is just the first step towards creating a lasting solution. Therefore, while we offer temporary assistance, our dedicated team also works tirelessly to develop longer-term strategies and support systems for those in need. The Food Bank, by the will of Allah سبحانه و تعالى is for all our brothers and sisters in humanity and does not discriminate against any race or religion.

Our doors are open to everyone in need. Just remember the prophet Mohammed (Peace Be upon Him) said “…he is not a Muslim that sleeps satisfied while his neighbour goes hungry…”

We have helped hundreds of individuals and families (both Muslims and non-Muslims). Without the help of Allah سبحانه و تعالى through kind donations, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this. As poverty is rising, more families are facing hardship and are using food bank more regularly.
